President Obama U have believed from an early age that as a person that has had a life so blessed has a duty to serve others. U have tried to exemplify that quality before, during and after ur presidency.

U have always cared for the welfare of others. In the South Side of Chicago, U coordinated with churches to improve housing conditions and set up job-training programs. U believe that we were all created equal, so Civil Rights are important to U. U were a lawyer at a law firm in Chicago that specialized in Civil Rights.

Ever since July 2004 when U did an outstanding job as the Keynote Speaker at the Democratic Party Convention U are known to be a great orator.

As the first African American President, U proved that U don’t have to be white to be President. U are also proof that person from a middle-class family can become President without wealth and family connections.

President Obama U tried to make it that most Americans that couldn’t afford healthcare received it, but U did not get enough support for ur Affordable Care Act (Obama Care). Still over 23 million Americans are currently insured thanks to the program that U envisaged

In 2009 U received a Nobel Peace Prize for ur extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples.

U care about the environment and were one of the 195 nations that adopted the 2015 Paris Agreement that was to try to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and slow global warming.

In a 2016 speech concerning the United States joining the Paris Agreement U said:” One of the reasons I ran for office was to make sure that America does its part to protect this planet for future generations. 

U tried to make it more difficult for people to buy guns and unfortunately U were unsuccessful. Mass killings are now a common practice in the United States, going mainstream. In ur home state of Illinois on Independence Day at a parade seven people have died due to another mass shooting. On CBC Debra Baum was interviewed and said:” We all have to change our behavior until this gets under control. I am not going to a parade anymore; I am not going to a sporting event. I I am afraid for my grandson to go to school.

President Obama what kind of a country allows this to happen, it is unconscionable that governments have not been successful in reigning in the terror and heartbreak that these senseless slaughters cause.

U narrated and won an Emmy for Netflix’s “Our Great National Parks”, saying: “I want to make sure that the world’s wild spaces are there for my kids and my grandkids.”

President Obama as Americas 44 President U presided over 250 million Americans. U routinely made decisions that influenced millions of Americans lives and others in positive ways.
